Basic Face Base

A simple base for me is really important, It's great for those days when you're pressed for time and also pretty handy for those 'no make up' days.

Generally on a daily basis I use the Bourjois healthy mix serum in shade 58. This is really light and doesn't cake either. The coverage is also quite light and not particularly buildable, perfect if you have very few blemishes to cover and just want to even out your skin tone.

I like to use Maybelline's super stay powder in nude, it's handy for the T-zone and also it adds a bit of extra coverage on the odd spot or two.

One of my most loved powders is Rimmel's stay matte in transparent. I use this to set my foundation and occasionally around the T-zone. It's particularly handy for setting foundation on the neck area, super helpful if you're wearing a white shirt too :)
